Learner needs a purpose for reading. They need to have an effective reading experience. Knowing what you are learning to do and knowing what you need to do when reading.

Text Sets
Unified understanding so we need to show the students can learn from one text to another. Couple of examples.
You don't plan for high order you won't get to it. Purposeful about open ended questioning. It needs to be planned for.
Extended discussion is different from questioning. It goes around the children not involving the teacher.

Students are invited to discuss and as the teacher you are letting them do the talking.
Students need to learn about how to have a discussion.
